Aerial

Aerial Beginner

Aerial Flow is a practice that combines elements of vinyasa yoga and aerial dance. Our classes take traditional yoga poses and incorporate the aid and support of the aerial hammock to allow greater stability and ease throughout your practice.

Learn the fundamentals of this fun, yet challenging practice at a slower pace, while building strength and flexibility required for poses in Aerial Level 1. The teacher will lead students through sun salutes as a warm up before moving into simple sequences to introduce movement with the aerial hammock. Each class will include an aerial peak pose with options for modification and end with a relaxation pose in the hammock.

Every class ends with a 10-15 minute savasana where you’ll be cocooned in your hammock, suspended in air, fully supported, surrounded by soothing music, and maybe even tucked in with a blanket.

You don’t need any experience in yoga, acrobatics or aerial dance to drop in to this class (although you do have to pre-register online.) Students of all levels are welcome!

Aerial Yoga classes take place at the Teacher Training Institute and require Pre-Registration. Please show up for class 15 minutes early to allow time to adjust your hammock height.

A $20 no show fee will be charged to all membership clients if they preregister and then don’t show up. If students no show and are paying the drop-in rate no refunds will be given.
