Yoga on High demystifies the ancient healing tradition of yoga and brings the benefits of this practice into a modern context that addresses challenges in our daily lives. It is absolutely the best way to start the workday, spend a lunch hour, or end a long day at the office.
Why Yoga in the Workplace?
In the workplace, the general benefits of yoga translate to increased creativity and productivity, decreased absenteeism, and fewer work-related, repetitive-action injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome and low back pain. Employees will notice an increase in energy level, improved concentration, less physical tension in the back, neck and shoulders, and a sense of physical and emotional balance.
Group privates can also be coordinated for birthday parties, bridal parties, Girl Scout badge work, and other opportunities. They are a great way to connect with friends and loved ones in a healthy and supportive environment.
Class Structure & Pricing
Classes may be scheduled at any time either in the workplace or at our studio. Classes are generally an hour long, but can be adjusted depending on your needs or time constraints. Classes can be customized for all levels of students from beginners through advanced practitioners.
Discounts are available if five or more sessions are scheduled and purchased in advance.
For groups of 5 or more, the cost is $150 per session. For classes with 20 or more participants, the cost is $250 per session and a teaching assistant will be provided if needed. An additional fee may be assessed depending on location and the instructor’s travel distance.
For classes held at the workplace, a clean, quiet room with ample floor will be needed. Uncarpeted floors are preferable, but not required. Each student will need a yoga mat. If needed, we can provide yoga props–blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters which broaden students’ options for practice. Mats may be provided at an additional cost.
