Ambre Emory-Maier

Ambre Emory-Maier

Always interested in learning, Ambre Emory-Maier came to yoga through a career in the dance field, hoping to heal an old injury and rejuvenate her body, mind and spirit. She first studied yoga in the Ashtanga traditional style and later became certified at the 200 and 500-hour level in Hatha yoga through YoHi’s Teacher Training Program. Her asana classes contain elements of flow, pranayama, restorative practices, chanting, honesty and humor. Her keen sense of movement and knowledge of other body therapies make her a diverse and thought provoking teacher. As a Reiki Master, Ambre offers a yoga practice that integrates asana, the energetic body and compassion, believing the practice is an opportunity to heal. Ambre has studied with many wonderful, wise yogis and dance professionals over the years. She is honored to be an assistant teacher in YoHi’s 200-hour Teacher Training Program and is continually inspired by those wishing to serve others.
