Jasmine Astra-Elle Grace

Jasmine Astra-Elle Grace

Jasmine Astra-elle Grace is a yogi, entrepreneur, and Yoga on High's CEO “Chief Energy Officer”.  More recently she has become part owner in the studio and looks forward to carrying on the vision, mission and values of Yoga on High.

Jasmine completed her 500 hour teacher training with vinyasa yoga sequencing legend, Cyndi Lee. Jasmine is passionate about teaching yoga and integrates mindfulness, alignment, philosophy, and fun into her classes. She often shares with her students how a consistent yoga practice can help create clarity, strength, compassion, and acceptance in our bodies and our minds so we may meet our own inner goodness – happy and authentic!

From a very young age Jasmine has been interested in the healing arts and alternative therapies. She has trained in Transcendental Meditation (TM), Reiki, creative visualization, and has worked as a certified and licensed massage therapist focused on Shiatsu and deep tissue manipulation. Yoga was a natural fit for her and she just knew it was part of her dharma.  Years of meditation and energetic body work allows Jasmine to hold space for smart, intuitively-designed yoga classes.  Jasmine is primarily an Ashtanga practitioner; however, she balances her daily routine with additional practices and explorations in Vinyasa, Meditation, Restorative, and Kundalini.  She creatively integrates her experiences into her teaching style and encourages students to listen to their body and find what feels good for them!

Forever curious, Jasmine is constantly deepening her personal practice and teaching skills.  She attends monthly yoga workshops at Yoga on High with both local and guest teachers. She has studied with Cyndi Lee, Rodney Yee, Richard Freeman, David Keil, Tim Miller, Maty Ezraty, and Kundalini yoga teacher Hari Karin Kaur Khalsa. This year she is looking forward to iRest with Anne Douglas and  Ashtanga Teacher Training with David Swenson.  Jasmine infuses her classes with the teachings of these great teachers and feels blessed to work so closely with some of the most knowledgeable leaders in yoga.
