Holly Moretti began singing and playing music as a young child. She grew up sharing gospel music with her family in churches around Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Although she had a few opportunities to pursue music as an education after high school, she decided to spend some time exploring other paths. She stopped singing for a while to focus her attention on getting her Bachelor’s Degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in Computer Information Systems. Shortly after an invitation from a friend to attend a karaoke contest, Holly’s interest and passion for music was reignited.
Holly found Yoga after becoming a mother in 2004 and in February 2007 she began a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program. In May of that same year she became the owner of Grow Yoga in Grandview Ohio. During her teacher training she was introduced to Kirtan and began to experience the visceral healing that music can invoke. She began to study and sing Kirtan. Some of her favorite Kirtan artists include Brenda McMorrow, Wah, Krishna Das, and Mike Cohen.
Holly is also involved in a few other music projects including a cover band named Audio Entrée. In 2005 she began writing music to help her cope with her life drama in a creative way and 8 years later she traveled to Nashville, Tn. to complete her first CD ‘Therapy’. Holly lives in Columbus, Ohio. She works as a Software Engineer at OCLC in Dublin, Ohio and teaches Yoga at Grow Yoga.
