You know how it goes...mother knows best! Ashley was first introduced to yoga by her mother when she was 14 years old. In fact, her first real job was working as a receptionist at a local yoga studio. Fifteen years later, Ashley and her mom completed YoHi's 200 YTT side by side. Family is what has kept Ashley coming back to her mat all these years - not only through the connection she shares with her immediate one, but also the ever-evolving yoga community, which has started to feel like family.
Yoga has been the perfect complement to Ashley's love of physical fitness. Whether through HIIT classes, spinning or organized sports, Ashley thrives off the motivation she gets from a good sweat. Yoga has been the linchpin that keeps her flexibility, endurance and overall body awareness in check. A sales professional by day, yoga also helps her to maintain mental clarity and balance in her personal life.
Outside of yoga, Ashley is a travel, music and food enthusiast - all of which provide inspiration for her yoga classes. Her vinyasa style classes are creatively sequenced, physically challenging and often weave strength drills throughout - all set to a carefully crafted playlist. Music guides her sequences, as she can't help but associate vinyasa style classes as one big dance party!
