Cindy's background as a nurse, combined with her passion for yoga has launched her on a journey to discover ways to make yoga accessible to everyone! She enjoys the challenge of modifying asana to meet the individual needs of her students. A self proclaimed “anatomy and physiology geek” Cindy applies that knowledge to her teaching methodology. Taking one of Cindy's classes will likely result in an understanding of why you are doing the pose, as well as an understanding of how not to do the pose! She believes that helping her students build a strong foundation of asana understanding and honing their sense of inner awareness will not only lessen the likelihood of injury, but also deepen their enjoyment of all things yoga! Cindy graduated from YOHI's 200 hour teacher training in 2016 and is eager to begin her 300 hour journey with a focus of yoga therapeutics. She specializes in beginner, Hatha level one, Hatha level two, and chair Yoga. She also teaches beginning Qi Gong and Tai Chi.
