Jerry Marcom

Jerry took his first yoga class in 1975. Over the next 25 years, he moved in and out of a Hatha/Ashtanga practice, increasing his awareness of yoga’s benefits but never fully committing to a personal practice. Finally, confronting some potentially long-term medical issues, he chose the path of a six-day a week Ashtanga practice “just to see if this stuff really worked.”  Twelve years later, he is now sharing his love for this practice of breath and movement with his students.  In each class he tries to convey both the joy and challenge that presents itself as we step onto the mat and explore the potential in each of us.
