First introduced to yoga through Rodney Yee VHS tapes, Kelli became more seriously invested in studying yoga after taking a course in college that delved into the study of meditation, secular spirituality and the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. Hugely influenced by peaceful social activists such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi, Kelli hopes someday to use yoga as a medium to create subtle societal change—teaching others self-love, self-care and emotional/spiritual wellbeing. As a step along that path, she graduated recently from the Yoga on High Teacher Training & Ayurvedic Institute, and is a RYT-200 yoga teacher with an emphasis in vinyasa yoga.
Largely inspired by all things colorful, bold and floral, Kelli combines her love of good music, humor and kindness with flowing vinyasa sequences.
An Art Scholars graduate of The Ohio State University, Kelli has a degree in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies with minors in Studio Art and English. In her spare time, you can find her reading, writing, playing piano, snuggling with her puppy, and (not-so-surprisingly) doing yoga.
