Lori Wiley Lowe

Lori has a passion for working with women and children. Her vibrant energy is focused on mothers-to-be, infants, children with special needs and boys and girls of all ages. She’s fun, creative and lighthearted, and has the energy to match that of the active children in her classes. She’s also very well trained. She holds a BSBA in Marketing from the Ohio State University, is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher with an emphasis on prenatal yoga and has completed several specialized training programs focusing on children. She took Next Generation Yoga training with Jodi Komitor, which focuses on working with children ages 2 through 16 years, as well as advanced training on Yoga for the Special Child with Sonia Sumar and BabyOm taught by Sarah Perron and Laura Staton. Finally, Lori holds a certificate in Holistic Health Counseling from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City where she studied with such luminaries as Andrew Weil, Christiane Northrup, Marc David and Walter Willet.

A lifelong learner, she’s currently working in the Advanced Teacher Training program at Yoga on High. Lori’s special interests include curriculum development for kids in after-school programs, adolescent girls and children with special needs. Lori melds her extensive experience teaching yoga with her holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle, including a sound approach to nutrition for women and children.

Lori is amazing! My 5 month old daughter, Sarah, and I love coming to see her every Saturday morning for Mommy Baby Yoga... She is so wonderful with the babies and really knows what the moms need every week. Thank you! - Julie Adams
