Rachel Weiler

High-flying, ocean-crashing, or flat-land: Rachel likes her yoga any way she can get it, but even more so, she loves sharing it any way she can.

Rachel's yoga journey began in Medina, OH at Half Moon Yoga, where she quickly learned that you get out of a yoga practice what you need even if you didn't know you needed it. It was no longer about physical strength and flexibility, and she knew she needed to share that with others. Rachel began teaching yoga in 2008 for The Ohio State University's group fitness program while pursuing a degree in Food Science. While at OSU, she taught populations ranging from athletic teams to sororities to faculty members. Rachel also became involved with the OSU Yoga Club, which is how she was introduced to Yoga on High.

Rachel graduated OSU in 2012 with a bachelor in food science, which she puts to use in her job as a food scientist at Nature's One. Upon graduation she continued to teach yoga at OSU while pursuing her 200 hour Yoga Teacher certification and taking on a new hobby, trapeze. Rachel completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification process in 2013, the same weekend she had her first trapeze performance. Little did she know, these 2 would be combined as one as she began teaching aerial yoga.

Rachel loves teaching yoga and is even more excited to be teaching it with different "mediums" like aerial silks and now paddleboards. Whether it be upside down, on the water, or on a mat, Rachel looks forward to helping students explore something new and hopefully have a little fun doing it.
