Stella Cornett

Stella started practicing yoga in 2003 to help relieve stress. In 2008, she took her first Ashtanga class and immediately fell in love with Ashtanga Yoga. She discovered that not only did yoga relieve symptoms of stress but it boosted her confidence and has led her to do things she thought she could never do.

Inspired by the benefits she received from this practice, she wanted to share this with others. In 2009, Stella completed the 200-hour Teacher Training Program at Yoga on High. In addition to studying with Martha, Marcia and Linda, Stella has studied with Tim Miller, Maty Ezraty and Doug Keller.

Off the mat, Stella loves to run, bike and practice Muay Thai boxing. She finds that yoga helps her create an awareness of what's going on in her body and prevent injury in these activities. She hopes to help her students feel good in their own bodies and cultivate mindfulness in any physical activity.
