Art & Yoga Teacher Training Columbus Ohio

Hari Kirin Khalsa: Art & Yoga Teacher Training

This workshop is designed for everyone interested in the healing power of yoga and art including yoga teachers, artists, healers, and psychotherapists. This training can touch your heart and open you to your unknown potential. If you are a yoga teacher, come learn creative arts exercises to deepen your students’ experience in a yoga class. If you work in the arts, come discover simple yet profound yoga techniques to enhance creative focus and flow. This workshop offers step-by-step guidelines for facilitating art and yoga as complementary practices. You learn to:

  • Create and maintain safe and sacred space
  • Combine movement, sound, and writing with visual arts and yoga
  • Work effectively with images, difficult emotions, relationships, and physical challenges
  • Tailor classes and private sessions for specific individuals and groups

This workshop includes Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. It combines meditation, mantra repetition, physical exercises, and breathing techniques. You can use the art exercises you learn here with any style of yoga or meditation or any healing modality. The supportive setting allows you to develop your own approach to facilitating art and yoga through practice, feedback, and reflection.

You do not have to be a current yoga teacher to take this course. Tuition includes all art supplies and a 5-page training supplement to Hari Kirin Kaur Khalsa’s new book, Art & Yoga: Kundalini Awakening in Everyday Life.
