Integrative Restoration - iRest® Yoga Nidra Training with Senior iRest Trainer, Stephanie Lopez
Wednesday, November 11 through Sunday, November 15
iRest Yoga Nidra supports psychological, physical, and spiritual health, healing, resiliency, well-being, and awakening. iRest is a secular and accessible practice, open to anyone at any stage of their life’s journey.
This Level 1 training introduces you to the core principles and practice of iRest Yoga Nidra. You will learn how to practice as well as deliver the ten-stage program of iRest to groups and individuals. You will also learn how to integrate iRest into your personal life and relationships, and, if you’re a yoga or meditation teacher, therapist, bodyworker, healthcare practitioner, or other service-oriented practitioner, into your professional practice.
iRest Yoga Nidra has proven to effectively support the healing process across a broad range of populations, including those with PTSD, chronic pain, sleep issues, stress-related issues, depression and anxiety.
A growing body of research shows the effectiveness of practicing iRest Yoga Nidra across a variety of populations and health-related issues. As a result, in June of 2010, US Army Surgeon General and Defense Centers of Excellence endorsed iRest Yoga Nidra (based on research with iRest) as a complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). iRest Yoga Nidra is being taught worldwide in yoga studios, sleep clinics, hospitals, VA sites, rehabilitation and healthcare facilities, hospice, prisons, universities, schools, and private practice settings. iRest is the result of over forty years of observation, research, and hands-on development by Dr. Richard Miller.
