A Workshop for Yoga Teachers & Students Seeking a Practice Intensive
If you want an apple tree, you plant apple seeds, right? If students cannot balance on their arms or turn themselves upside down, it is our job, as teachers, to give them the seeds they need to grow their yoga practice.
This Vinyasa workshop will show you how to plant the seeds of arm balances and inversions by embedding the elements of these challenging poses into creative, smart vinyasa sequences.
Let’s stop telling our students -- and ourselves! -- what's needed is a strong core, buff arms and courage, and apply clear steps towards accessing arm balances and inversions through playful weight shifting, inner thigh awareness, precise foot work and knowing how to fall. These are just the tip of the iceberg! Learn how the work in every pose can be experienced in a way that plants the seeds for bakasana, titibasana, pinca mayurasana, vishvamitrasana and other flying up poses.
This Vinyasa workshop will help you gain confidence, clarity and even more compassion as a teacher, enabling you to plant fertile seeds for your students, and for yourself, too.
All yoga teachers, experienced or brand new; people considering teaching, or those who want to deepen their practice are welcome
