Komyo Reiki Kai is a style of traditional Japanese Reiki (Hayashi-style) that Reiki Master Jodi Patton has learned directly from Hyakuten Inamoto, her teacher and the founder of the Komyo Kai system. Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei presents Reiki as it was understood and commonly practiced in the 1930s in Japan. This approach emphasizes felt spiritual experiences which are gained through the practice of Reiki Ryoho, aiming for satori, or enlightenment. In this system, the Komyo Reiki Kai Usui lineage is fairly direct—Usui, Hayashi, Yamaguchi, Inamoto, Patton and then to you.
In this Chuden (Second Level) coursework, students will receive the Komyo Reiki Kai Chuden (Second Level) manual, as well as other handouts and materials to support their understanding of the historical, practical and beneficial aspects of Reiki Ryoho. Students will be initiated to Chuden (Second Level) by means of the Komyo Reiki Kai "Reiju" or "attunement" that will empower them to open their Reiki channel even further than during their Shoden attunement. They will also receive the three Reiki symbols and their meanings, and learn techniques for distance healing, emotional healing and forming new habits. There will be ample opportunity for students to practice their skills of giving and receiving as well as time to strengthen their relationship to the Reiki energy through Reiki meditations.
Students must have completed the Shoden training or be attuned to Reiki Level 1 or above in order to attend this Chuden training.
